Single Mother Gives Birth in Hiding

AGA Field Report
November 17, 2011

Without a marriage certificate, there is no birth permit for Chinese mothers.  Facing condemnation and shame, most mothers abort or abandon their infants.

All Girls Allowed workers have protected a single mother who became pregnant in China without a birth permit.  She was homeless and very depressed when discovered, but workers quickly took her to a safe place to hide and deliver her baby.

She safely gave birth to her first child, a girl, away from public scrutiny or the danger of the local planning committee.

Without a marriage certificate, there is no birth permit for Chinese mothers.  And this young mother is an orphan, abandoned at birth by her own parents.  Please pray for her as she is still very depressed following two weeks of homelessness and rejection.

Her baby is very healthy and we consider this a rescue of two lives--both the mother and the daughter.  Our workers are loving both mother and daughter as much as possible during these important first days of life.
