At the last meeting of the newly expanded Board of Directors, we were blessed with a display of unity as the Board agreed emphatically that the Lord's will was for the ministry of All Girls Allowed to move forward. Next week's meeting will address the critical questions of "how" we will move forward. What is the Lord's unique calling for All Girls Allowed? How can we go about assembling a solid sustainable team to carry out that calling? These are some of the big questions the Board will be tackling next Thursday.
A few days ago, one of our field workers in the Baby Shower Program shared the following testimony about two sisters who have found a common identity in Christ:
One family began receiving our Baby Shower Gifts last month, but after their daughter got sick, they visited a spirit-doctor who told them that their daughter was sick because they were receiving funds from Christians. They withdrew from the program immediately and returned their first stipend. Pray that they would escape from Satan's grip of fear, and that they would know the perfect Love, the one who casts out all fear!
Praise the Lord! He is making Himself known at one of our sites in China. Please pray for the following people who have recently come to Christ:
1) Guan and her mother Zhao, who find themselves spiritually weak and hope that God can strengthen their faith;
2) Hong and her wife Wei, who want God to open their minds so that they can understand His words; and
3) A Tibetan mother who decided to follow Jesus, but is rejected by her husband because of this decision.
Two mothers in the Baby Shower Program have been facing difficulties delivering their babies. One of them fell sick and had a fever during delivery, which made her husband and parents very worried. Please pray that God will bring peace and healing to this whole family. Another pregnant mother planned to deliver her baby at a local hospital, but got rejected because she had already given birth to two baby girls. Now, the mother has to find a hospital in another town that can help deliver her baby. Please pray that God would provide such a hospital to this mother.
Thank you for your prayers on behalf of Stacy* and her family! We received news today that her family has decided to keep the baby, even before our worker Grace* had a chance to visit her in person. What an answer to prayer, as it was clearly the Holy Spirit moving in their hearts to keep the baby and to cancel the abortion appointment.
