First Annual All Girls Allowed Dinner Was A Success!

Thank you to all the attendees and supporters who celebrated with us last Friday at the All Girls Allowed First Annual Dinner. We had an overwhelmingly successful night and succeeded in raising awareness about gendercide and the injustices of the One-Child Policy. The dinner succeeded in encouraging supporters, raising funds and celebrating our first year of bringing life, value and dignity to girls in China.

Guest speakers and All Girls Allowed Advisory Board Members Michael Flaherty and David Aikman delivered passionate and heartfelt sentiments about the cause, what they have done to help, and what others can do to join them in the fight against gendercide. Ayla Brown delivered a captivating emotional performance during dinner that will not soon be forgotten. We cannot thank Mr. Flaherty, Mr. Aikman and Ms. Brown enough for all their support and commitment to the cause. Chai Ling, founder and president of All Girls Allowed delivered a moving address of her personal journey to found All Girls Allowed inviting everyone to find their place in the movement.

We premiered a video portraying our All Girls Allowed mission and families who are in China experiencing these hardships everyday. Through their heart-wrenching images and shocking stories, the families portrayed in the videos really sparked a feeling of compassion and generosity in the room. Watch the Celebrate video here.

Through the generous donations of more than 160 guests, more than $25,000 was raised to help end gendercide, the suffering of women and girls in China and the negative effects its having on Chinese society. Click the picture below to see more photos from the event!
